  1. HI Alan, I saw your post on Chicago Chicken about getting hassled for your animals. Since you keep them in relation to a disability, it can become a fair housing issue for the city to try to deprive you of them. You can contact the HOPE Fair Housing Center for further discussion of that. Their number is 630-690-6500.

    I’m trying to figure out what to do with 4 Silver Laced Wyandottes. My neighbor has begun to complain about the noise. They are very good girls, docile and friendly. Do you know anyone who is looking for hens? They are one year old and laying and very healthy. I have an ad up on Craigslist.

    Thanks for the suggestion. For now things are quiet, but I will hold onto that in case the need arises. Sorry I didn’t reply sooner, we have been dealing with multiple health/family issues.

    Did you find a home for your Wyandottes? I’m rather behind in emails and have skipped the CCE digests while recovering/catching up, so apologies if you posted there and I missed it.
